Project Introduction

 Marking 140 years of diplomatic relations, Korea and Italy, two peninsular nations representing Asia and Europe, present a joint 3D media art exhibition. This visual spectacle weaves together timeless traditions, mythical lore, historical narratives, and natural wonders, serving as a vibrant tapestry of both cultures. The exhibition will be held both online and offline from November to December, reaching a wider audience through media walls at Incheon International Airport and KTX Daejeon Station, as well as the YouTube channel 'Kore∙A∙Round Culture.'

 Three artists participating in the media art video exhibition express the friendship between Korea and Italy through three main themes. 'Embodied Passion - Sculpture' intersects the iconic forms of both countries' cultures across different eras, with dynamic imagery conveying the intense energy of the sculptor's passion. 'Nature Embodied - Craft' depicts nature, the most primal source of artistic inspiration, showcasing the essence of craftsmanship born from the beauty of peninsular nations. 'Transcending Time - Patterns' combines traditional patterns to create unique designs, expressing new cultural interactions through these modern rebirths.
