Project Introduction

Air Echoes Into Open Unison
To mark the 140th anniversary of Franco-Korean diplomatic relations, six musicians from France and Korea explore sound as a phenomenon born of encounter and relationship. Breath and voice, friction and resonance interweave as jeongga and medieval chant, traditional instruments and soundscape seep into one another — and we surrender to a borderlessness where space itself becomes foreground.
